Crunchy Spiced Chickpeas
1 can chickpeas Juice of half a lemon
1 tsp curry powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp paprika Sprinkle of salt Cayenne pepper to taste (optional)
Method 1. Pre-heat the oven to 200°C.
2. Drain, rinse and dry the can of chickpeas and place in a bowl.
3. Add lemon juice, spices and salt and with your hands, mix the chickpeas until all are evenly coated.
4. Line a baking tray with baking paper and poor on the chickpeas.
5. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, stirring once or twice in between.
